Privacy Policy

a) Information you provide directly

• Account information: your email address and password when you register. If you sign in with Apple, we receive your email, name, and a user identifier from Apple.
• Profile and onboarding information: information you enter to personalize the App, which may include your name, age, height, weight, target weight, activity level, fitness goal, body composition preferences, fitness level, and training location (home or gym).
• Religious/practice preferences: prayer-related preferences such as your prayer consistency and timing/location preferences, used to tailor reminders and tracking.

b) Information generated through your use of the App

• Activity and logs: workouts and exercises performed, meals and foods logged (including calories and macronutrients), water intake, and prayer completion records.
• Fitness and health metrics: steps, distance, and active energy, where you grant permission.

c) Health platform data

With your permission, the App integrates with device health platforms (such as Apple Health on iOS and Health Connect on Android) to read fitness data such as steps, distance, and active energy, and to write certain data such as water intake to Apple Health. We only access this data with your explicit permission, which you can revoke at any time in your device settings.

d) Location data

With your permission, we use your device location to calculate accurate local prayer times. You may instead select your city manually. Location is used for prayer-time calculation and is not used to track your movements.

e) Device and usage data

We and our analytics providers may automatically collect technical and usage information, such as app interactions and session information, to understand how the App is used and to improve it (see Section 4).

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and personalize the App’s features (prayer tracking, workouts, nutrition, water, and health insights);
• Calculate prayer times and deliver reminders and notifications you enable;
• Maintain your account and sync your profile across sessions;
• Analyze usage to fix problems and improve the App;
• Communicate with you about your account or support requests;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

With your permission, the App may send local notifications such as prayer reminders, water reminders, meal/tracking reminders, and streak notifications. You can turn these off at any time in the App settings or your device settings.

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the App. These may include:

• Authentication and data hosting — to register accounts and store your profile securely.
• Nutrition data sources — to provide food and nutrition information. This data is supplied by third parties and may be inaccurate or incomplete (see our Terms of Use).
• Analytics — we use analytics and session-analysis tools to understand how users interact with the App and to improve it. These tools may record interaction information about your sessions in the App.
• Device health platforms — Apple Health and Health Connect, as described above.
• Sign-in providers — such as Apple Sign-In.

These third parties process data under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

• Some data is stored locally on your device (for example, certain logs, settings, and your profile photo if you add one).
• Some data — such as your account and profile — is stored on secure third-party servers to enable sign-in and syncing.
• We rely on industry-standard safeguards from our service providers to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 9). Data stored locally on your device is removed when you delete the App or clear its data.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access, correct, or update your personal information;
• Request deletion of your personal information;
• Withdraw permissions (such as location or health access) via your device settings;
• Object to or restrict certain processing.

DeenFit is not intended for children below the age required to consent to data processing in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

You can request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing leanandondeen@deenfitapp.com. You can also remove locally stored data by deleting the App from your device.

DeenFit is available worldwide. Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, where data-protection laws may differ. By using the App, you consent to this transfer and processing, subject to applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
